Job Description:
Chandran Steels is a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment, serving hotels, restaurants, caterers, and food businesses across India. We're looking for a skilled Demo Chef to showcase our products through live cooking demonstrations, mainly featuring South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian veg and non-veg dishes for live product demonstrations
- Operate all commercial kitchen equipment confidently (idli steamers, dosa plates, tilting grinders, tandoors, ovens, etc.)
- Showcase how Chandran Steels' products enhance food preparation and productivity
- Work closely with the sales and technical team to schedule and plan daily demos
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the demo kitchen
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment or willingness to learn
- Ability to plan menus and cook for small to medium demo batches
- Ability to adapt and learn about new kitchen technologies
- Flexible to work on demo schedules, including some weekends or events
