Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 1 year in the garment or fabric industry
Paid Leave: 2 paid leaves per month
Salary: 17k-22k, with increments based on performance
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fabric Merchandiser to manage and coordinate the complete fabric production cycle, from yarn procurement to final dispatch. The ideal candidate should have strong follow-up skills, knowledge of fabric manufacturing processes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with knitters, dyers, printers, mediators, and other vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on the complete fabric production process, from yarn procurement → knitting → dyeing → printing → finishing → dispatch.
- Coordinate continuously with knitters, dyers, printers, mediators, and other parties to ensure timely fabric production and procurement.
- Track production timelines and ensure there are no unnecessary delays at any stage.
- Maintain accurate records of yarn stock and fabric stock at different production stages and warehouses.
- Monitor fabric movement between various parties and warehouses.
- Ensure timely clearance of bills and payments of vendors/parties to avoid disruption or delays in production.
- Regularly update management on production status, pending orders, stock levels, and potential delays.
- Resolve day-to-day issues related to fabric production, quality, delivery, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of fabric and yarn transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the garment, textile, or fabric industry.
- Good understanding of the fabric manufacturing process, especially knitting and dyeing.
- Strong vendor follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of yarn and fabric stock management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production orders simultaneously.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/ERP systems will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience working with knitters, dyers, printers, and fabric suppliers will be preferred.
