Job Title: Punjabi Content Writer – Political Communications
Location: Chandigarh, Punjab (Full-Time, On-Site)
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Punjabi Content Writer who understands Punjab's political landscape and can create impactful content for political campaigns, public communication, and digital media. The ideal candidate should have experience working with political parties, leaders, election campaigns, or public affairs and possess strong command over Punjabi language and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging and persuasive content in Punjabi for social media, speeches, press releases, campaign materials, and public outreach.
- Create content for Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms.
- Develop political narratives, slogans, campaign themes, and messaging strategies.
- Draft speeches, statements, talking points, and responses for leaders and spokespersons.
- Monitor current affairs, Punjab politics, and public sentiment to create timely and relevant content.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and social media teams to execute campaigns effectively.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and party ideology across all communication channels.
- Assist in election campaigns, rallies, and public engagement initiatives when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, Punjabi, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Punjabi content writing, preferably with political parties, political consulting firms, or public affairs organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Punjabi. Knowledge of Hindi and English will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Punjab politics, government policies, and current affairs.
- Experience in writing for social media, speeches, campaign materials, and digital communication.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing political scenarios.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong research skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with political leaders, election campaigns, or political consulting agencies.
- Familiarity with social media trends and digital campaigning.
- Knowledge of AI tools and content research tools will be an added advantage.
