ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and detail-oriented IT Executive for our premier 5-star luxury hotel property in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a seamless, high-performance technology infrastructure across guest rooms, banquet spaces, corporate offices and operational units. This role demands a robust technical background spanning hardware deployment, networking, surveillance systems, standard hospitality ERP systems and modern Audio-Visual (AV) integration, ensuring minimal downtime in a round-the-clock operating environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Infrastructure, Hardware & System Configuration
· Procure, install, assemble and configure workstation hardware, servers, POS terminals and peripheral devices across all departments.
· Perform OS deployment, patch updates, user profile setups and ongoing software compliance verifications.
· Troubleshoot hardware failures rapidly to ensure property wide operational continuity.
2. Networking, Wi-Fi & Surveillance Security
· Manage and maintain the property's network architecture, including high-speed internet routers, switches, firewalls and dedicated access points.
· Ensure uninterrupted, high-bandwidth guest Wi-Fi coverage across all rooms, public areas, and banquet facilities; manage bandwidth allocation and guest authentication gateways.
· Oversee the end-to-end functionality of the IP CCTV surveillance camera system, including NVR/DVR storage administration, camera repositioning and routine visual feed audits.
3. Audio-Visual (AV), PA Systems & Banquet Support
· Ensure peak operational readiness of Public Address (PA) systems, background music (BGM) setups and professional projector/display matrices across all boardrooms and event halls.
· Provide direct technical support for high-profile corporate conferences, weddings & banquets, executing flawless sound, lighting and display integration.
4. Hospitality ERP & Software Management
· Assist in the installation, maintenance, configuration and end-user support of Hospitality ERP softwares and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, IDS Next, or similar platforms.
· Coordinate with software vendors for updates, troubleshooting, database backups and specialised integrations (POS, Material Management, HRMS).
5. IT Audits, Compliance & Governance
· Conduct routine internal IT audits to assess system health, network vulnerabilities and software license compliance.
· Maintain granular asset registers tracking all IT infrastructure, hardware serials, software subscriptions and service life-cycles.
· Enforce strict data security policies, data backup routines and disaster recovery verification protocols in alignment with 5-star compliance standards.
REQUIRED PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL) will be an added advantage.
· Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management. Prior experience in a premium hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment is highly desirable.
· Technical Skillset: Proven expertise in structural cabling, Wi-Fi router configurations, IP camera troubleshooting, sound engineering basics for PA systems and ERP database maintenance.
· Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities under pressure, excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong guest-centric service mindset.
· Operational Flexibility: Willingness to support a 24/7 rotational roster, including weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts for critical system outages.

This is an on-site professional role requiring immediate local response capabilities within the Trivandrum region. Candidates demonstrating a track record of handling high-end banquet technical productions and internal IT compliance audits will be prioritised.
Pay: ₹10,647.41 - ₹30,000.00 per month
