Job Summary
The Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day civil construction activities at industrial project sites, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure timely completion of construction activities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Allocate work to site personnel and monitor productivity.
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering practices.
- Monitor excavation, foundations, RCC works, structural works, masonry, flooring, finishing, drainage, roads, and utility works.
- Verify measurements and quantities for executed work.
- Ensure availability of construction materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and work logs.
- Identify and resolve site execution issues in coordination with the engineering team.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and statutory regulations.
- Monitor housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and quality documentation.
- Support project handover activities by ensuring completion of punch list items.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of RCC, structural steel, foundations, roads, drainage, and utility works.
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD drawings is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
