Workshop Manager – Truck Maintenance

Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of trucks and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of truck troubleshooting, breakdown diagnosis, spare parts management, and workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day workshop operations and supervise mechanics.
- Diagnose truck breakdowns and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
- Ensure timely repair, preventive maintenance, and servicing of commercial vehicles.
- Monitor and manage truck spare parts inventory and procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers and transport teams for vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Maintain service records, job cards, and workshop documentation.
- Ensure proper utilization of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
- Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) and warranty-related coordination with vendors and OEMs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain workshop cleanliness.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in truck/commercial vehicle workshop management.
- Strong knowledge of truck engines, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Experience in troubleshooting, breakdown handling, and spare parts management.
- Basic knowledge of AMC and warranty claim procedures.
- Good leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
Preferred Industry: Transportation, Logistics, Truck Fleet Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Service.
