Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality videos for school events, activities, social media, promotional campaigns, and internal communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos of school events, functions, competitions, celebrations, and activities.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and event highlights.
- Add music, transitions, text, subtitles, graphics, animations, and effects.
- Select and organize the best footage to create professional videos.
- Create videos suitable for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and school presentations.
- Coordinate with teachers, management, and the creative/media team to understand video requirements.
- Maintain proper organization and backup of video files and project assets.
- Ensure videos are completed within the required deadlines.
- Follow the school's branding, visual style, and communication guidelines.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva.
- Strong understanding of video editing, transitions, audio, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
- Knowledge of social-media video formats and trends.
- Good sense of storytelling, creativity, and visual presentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good time-management and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant video editing experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio may also be considered.
