Core Responsibilities
- Water Systems: Operate, monitor, and regenerate Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), and Pure Steam generation systems.
- Utility Operations: Manage auxiliary plant equipment including boilers, chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), cooling towers, and compressed air systems.
- Water Quality Testing: Conduct daily physicochemical (pH, conductivity, TOC) and microbial testing to guarantee water meets required pharmacopeial purity.
- Compliance & Documentation: Strictly follow cGMP protocols, maintain accurate logbooks for shift handovers, and document equipment calibrations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine servicing of valves, pumps, and filters to avoid system breakdowns and ensure maximum uptime.
Qualification & Skills
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a B.Sc. in Chemistry/Microbiology.
- Experience: 2–5 years of operating water treatment (RO/EDI/DM) and utility plants within a regulated pharmaceutical, API, or biotech facility.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of FDA/WHO guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11, and Clean-in-Place (CIP) / Steam-in-Place (SIP) concepts.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
