Full Stack Web Developer (Next.js | React | TypeScript | Node.js)About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Mid-Level to Senior Full Stack Web Developer to maintain, optimize, and build new features for our high-traffic e-commerce platform. The application is built using Next.js 14 (App Router), React, TypeScript, Node.js, and MariaDB, and is self-hosted on a Linux VPS.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the entire stack—from creating responsive user interfaces to optimizing database performance, integrating third-party services, and managing production deployments.

Responsibilities
- Develop new frontend features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Next.js API Routes.
- Design responsive and user-friendly interfaces with Tailwind CSS.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets containing millions of product variants.
- Develop new features while maintaining existing production functionality.
- Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways and analytics services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux VPS infrastructure.
- Configure and manage PM2, Nginx, Cloudflare, and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve application architecture and user experience.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of React.js.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js (App Router).
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Excellent SQL knowledge using MySQL/MariaDB.
- Experience optimizing database queries, indexes, and application performance.
- Strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
- Comfortable working on Linux servers using SSH.
- Experience managing PM2, Nginx, and production deployments.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare DNS and caching.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating PayPal or other payment gateways.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Experience working with large Excel/CSV datasets.
- Basic Python scripting for automation.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and inventory management.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization.
Ideal Candidate

You should be comfortable troubleshooting live production issues, improving application performance, and deploying updates with minimal downtime.

- 3+ years of professional Full Stack Web Development experience.
