We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fuel Clerk to support daily fuel management operations for our trucking fleet. The successful candidate will monitor fuel prices, communicate with drivers, track fuel purchases, and coordinate fuel-related activities to help control company fuel costs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Check and monitor daily diesel fuel prices at truck stops and fuel stations
- Compare fuel prices across routes and regions to identify cost-effective fueling locations
- Communicate fueling instructions and approved fuel stops to drivers through phone, text, dispatch systems, or fleet management apps
- Answer driver questions regarding fuel locations, fuel limits, and fueling procedures
- Monitor fuel receipts and fuel card transactions for accuracy
- Verify truck numbers, fuel quantities, fuel locations, and fuel prices
- Maintain daily fuel reports, spreadsheets, and fuel cost records
- Track fuel usage trends and report unusual fuel activity or discrepancies
- Coordinate with dispatch to plan efficient fuel stops and reduce unnecessary fuel costs
- Detect and report fuel theft, duplicate transactions, fuel card misuse, or excessive fuel consumption
- Open and close daily fuel operation reports and systems
- Authorize fuel transactions for company trucks
- Monitor fuel pump activity and report equipment or system issues to management
- Maintain accurate fuel records and ensure company fueling procedures are followed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with drivers, dispatchers, and management
- Knowledge of trucking routes, fuel stations, and fueling procedures is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Shift timing: Night Shift 7:30PM - 4:30AM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
