Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials and services at optimal cost to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and float inquiries based on project material requirements
- Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate pricing and terms
- Generate and release purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries
- Coordinate with site/project teams for material planning
- Maintain purchase records and ensure cost control and documentation
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Required Skills
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of construction material specifications
- Familiarity with inventory and procurement software
Preferred Skills
- Experience in preparing BBS, DPR, and quantity reconciliation
- Exposure to high-rise residential and commercial projects
- Basic understanding of project planning tools and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Preferred industry: Construction
