About Us:
Verritas Furniture is establishing a new captive manufacturing plant in Bengaluru as part of its expansion. We're hiring an HR Manager to build and run the people function from the ground up at this greenfield site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up HR systems and processes for a new manufacturing plant (policies, attendance, payroll coordination)
- Manage recruitment for factory workforce, supervisors, and staff roles
- Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESI, professional tax (Karnataka PTRC/PT-EC), factory license, and labour law adherence
- Handle onboarding, induction, and training coordination for shop-floor workers
- Manage contract labour compliance and vendor/contractor HR documentation
- Address employee grievances and maintain industrial relations
- Coordinate with Kolkata HQ on HR policy alignment
Requirements:
- 4+ years HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/factory environment in Karnataka
- Working knowledge of Karnataka labour laws, factory compliance (Seva Sindhu, e-Prerana/PT registrations)
- Experience handling blue-collar workforce HR (contract labour, attendance, wages)
