Position: Purchase Executive
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong procurement experience in the hotel industry, excellent vendor management skills, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for hotel operations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of food, beverages, housekeeping items, engineering materials, and other hotel supplies.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate with stores and department heads.
- Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor supplier performance and build long-term vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
- Track market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel procurement processes and vendor management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/inventory software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Candidate should be ready to join within 10 days.
