Job Summary :
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee and manage the financial and statutory compliance of a jewellery showroom. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, taxation compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to the management. This is a part-time role, ideal for professionals seeking flexible working hours.
Role & Responsibilities :
- 1. Financial Management: Oversee and review day-to-day accounting activities. Prepare and analyze financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure accurate bookkeeping and ledger maintenance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- 2. Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns. Manage Income Tax returns and tax planning. Ensure TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing. Stay updated with statutory and regulatory changes.
- 3. Audit & Control: Conduct internal audits and ensure financial accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Implement and monitor internal financial controls. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
- 4. Banking & Financial Planning: Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting. Guide management on investment and financial decisions.
- 5. Industry-Specific Responsibilities (Jewellery): Monitor inventory valuation of gold and precious items. Ensure compliance with hallmarking and bullion-related regulations. Review high-value transactions and financial risk controls. Support financial documentation for loans or credit facilities.
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax. Expertise in financial reporting and compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Strong communication and advisory abilities.
