About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory operations in our manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for handling raw materials, tools, and finished goods efficiently to support smooth production activities.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory regularly
- Conduct periodic stock audits and report discrepancies
Receiving & Inspection
- Receive and verify incoming materials as per purchase orders
- Inspect materials for quality and quantity
Material Issuing
- Issue materials to production and other departments as per requisitions
- Ensure timely availability of materials
Store Organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storr
- Ensure proper storage to prevent damage or loss
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain detailed records of stock movement
- Use inventory software / MS Excel for tracking
Coordination
- Work closely with Purchase, Production, and QC teams
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow for operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper (preferably in manufacturing/plant)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, inventory systems)
- Ability to handle physical work (lifting/moving materials)
- Knowledge of safety practices in warehouse/store
