Job Description:
1) Should understand enough about business processes to be able to best match ERP workflow to the company’s established systems.
2) Should have enough technical literacy to understand and anticipate any issues with the ERP and how it relates to other systems.
3) Works closely with vendors, and the development teams to resolve certain issues.
4) Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with end users and with clients, supervisors, colleagues, and staff.
5) Maintains security administration of system and ensures users have proper access levels to the appropriate functionality.
6) Responds promptly to end user and management needs.
7) Prompt talk with staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
8) Interfaces with the software vendors for any application bug resolution or application maintenance issues.
9) Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing.
10) Participates in routine meetings related to the ERP system and core IT Operational systems.
11) Proactively anticipates issues and makes recommendations.
12) Carrying out other duties that are reasonably requested.
13) Support on core modules across Oracle 10g Database including, User Creation, Tablespace, SQL Query, including system configuration and integration, Including Integration with Biometric Machines, Database.
14) Daily Database Backup Over NAS Drive, Schedule Task Configuration, Batch File Creation.
15) Works with internal and external ERP development teams in coordinating system-wide updates and installing upgrades and patches for ERP systems.
16) Make the necessary corrections and problem-solving to ensure data accuracy and solve problems within the production flow.
17) Hands-on Experience and ability to Understand Business Processes like Purchase Module Inventory Module HR Module Production Module Accounts Module ... etc.
18) Install, configure, maintain (upgrade and patch) an ERP database.
19) Evaluate and research new database features, versions, and technologies.
20) Provide cross-functional ongoing support and maintenance across the Group ERP platform, Oracle 10G Database.
21) Able to manage the configuration and operation of on-premise ERP systems; provide technical support for ERP and software issues like System backup, and disaster recovery and ensure system uptime/availability.
22) Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP.
23) Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.
24) Maintaining and administering computer networks, including hardware, software applications, and configurations.
25) Communicating and collaborating with third-party vendors that provide services to ensure networks operate as per expectations.
26) Ensuring and maintaining connectivity of different networks.
27) Updating existing network equipment and advising on the purchase of new systems.
28) Informing leaders and senior managers of network status.
29) Protecting data by maintaining firewalls, implementing data security systems, and performing data backups when necessary.
30) Day-to-Day Systems & Network Checkup.
31) Having Knowledge of Antivirus Console.
32) Day To Day Backups to NAS Drive
