ACME School, Pothur,Guntur, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Telugu Teacher for the Primary Wing (Classes 1–3). The teacher will be responsible for building strong foundational language skills in Telugu through engaging, child-friendly, and activity-based teaching methods aligned with CBSE learning standards. The role requires creating an encouraging classroom environment that develops students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities in Telugu.
Key Responsibilities: Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Telugu language to students of Classes 1–4 as per the CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
- Develop students’ foundational skills in reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension.
- Use interactive and activity-based teaching strategies to make language learning enjoyable and effective.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct regular classwork, homework, dictation, reading activities, storytelling, and recitation sessions.
- Encourage correct handwriting, pronunciation, and language usage among students.
Student Development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom atmosphere.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide support wherever necessary.
- Encourage participation, confidence, creativity, and communication skills among students.
- Promote appreciation for Telugu language, culture, literature, and traditions through classroom activities.
Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct periodic assessments, corrections, and evaluations as per school guidelines.
- Maintain student records, notebooks, progress reports, and assessment documentation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
Coordination & School Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other teachers and the Primary Coordinator for smooth academic planning and execution.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, celebrations, and academic activities.
- Support school initiatives and contribute positively to the academic environment.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telugu / Relevant Subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in primary classes preferred.
- Experience in CBSE schools will be an added advantage.
