The ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems Technician is responsible for the installation,
configuration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems
such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, SMATV, and other lowvoltage
systems.
Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, PA, SMATV, Intercom, and Structured Cabling.

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system upgrades.

Troubleshoot and rectify faults in ELV systems efficiently.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Ensure installations comply with project specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.

Prepare daily work reports and update as-built documentation.

Assist in testing, system handover, and client demonstrations.

Follow company policies and site health & safety regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance.

Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Networking basics, and Structured Cabling.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills and documentation abilities.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with leading ELV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.

Basic knowledge of IP networking, switches, and PoE systems.
-
Relevant ELV or networking certifications.
