Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Science to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment while fostering critical thinking and social awareness among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Social Science lessons for Classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics using interactive and activity-based learning methods.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, question papers, and assessment materials.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance classroom learning.
- Assess and evaluate students' academic progress through regular tests, assignments, and projects.
- Guide and mentor students to achieve academic excellence and develop analytical thinking.
- Encourage participation in debates, quizzes, exhibitions, field visits, and other subject-related activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Ensure a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, school events, and other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics) with B.Ed. (as per CBSE norms).
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital teaching tools.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and holistic development.
