Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial operations, accounting, reporting, and governance across multiple group entities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing the books of accounts for at least 4–5 subsidiaries/entities, preferably within a shared services or corporate finance environment. The role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, controllership, month-end closures, compliance, and stakeholder management.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Controllership
- Manage end-to-end accounting and book closure activities across multiple subsidiaries/entities.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures.
- Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Accruals, and Provisions.
Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Manage consolidation of financial results across 4–5+ entities.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
- Prepare management reports, MIS, and board-level reporting packs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Shared Services & Process Governance
- Lead or work closely with Shared Services teams handling AP, AR, Treasury, Payroll, and R2R processes.
- Establish robust SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure SLA adherence and service delivery excellence across finance operations.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and audits.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders and plant operations teams to provide financial insights.
- Support working capital management, cash flow planning, and profitability analysis.
- Drive finance transformation and automation initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- CA / CMA preferred (MBA Finance may be considered with relevant experience).
- 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Mandatory experience handling books of accounts for 4–5 subsidiaries/group entities.
- Experience in a Shared Services, Corporate Finance, or Group Controllership environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and compliance.
- Manufacturing or FMCG industry experience preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, D365, or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

Location Requirement: Pune (Work from Office).
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
