Social Media Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Assistant to support our online presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will help create engaging content, schedule posts, monitor audience interaction, and assist in growing brand awareness and community engagement. The candidate should also have hands-on knowledge of modern AI tools for content creation, design, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and publish content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
- Use AI tools to generate captions, content ideas, graphics, reels, and marketing creatives
- Assist in developing social media calendars and campaign plans
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries professionally
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activity
- Track engagement metrics and prepare performance reports
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams
- Help maintain brand voice and consistency across all channels
- Support influencer outreach and community engagement activities
- Schedule posts using social media management tools
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of major social media platforms
- Must have working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, and other AI-based content creation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Familiarity with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of analytics and social media insights
- Previous internship or social media experience preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
- Experience with scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Buffer
- Knowledge of photo/video editing and short-form content creation
