We are hiring a CAD Support Officer for our client in Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Tekla, and related engineering applications.
- Troubleshoot CAD application issues and support multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Manage software installations, upgrades, patches, and workstation configurations.
- Support license administration, compliance monitoring, and user access management.
- Coordinate with IT Service Desk teams for incident resolution and SLA adherence.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and support documentation.
- Test new software releases and patches before deployment.
- Support engineering data management platforms such as Vault, ProjectWise, SmartPlant, or E3D.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of CAD/Application Support experience in EPC, Infrastructure, Industrial, Mining, or Engineering environments.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Tekla.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or similar ITSM tools.
- Knowledge of Windows administration, software deployment, and license management.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience supporting global engineering users is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Autodesk Vault, Bentley ProjectWise, SmartPlant, AVEVA E3D
- FlexNet License Management
- ITIL or Autodesk Certifications
