We are looking for a proactive, highly connected, and result-oriented Content Acquisition & Business Development Manager to drive project acquisition and revenue growth for a fast-growing AI-powered media production company.
This role is ideal for someone who can actively identify, pitch, and acquire new content projects, brand collaborations, production partnerships, and media opportunities across both B2B and B2C segments.
The candidate will play a key role in expanding the company’s client network and securing projects across multiple formats including audio shows, audiobooks, podcasts, micro drama series, AI-generated episodic content, Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, YouTube videos, branded content, digital campaigns, website projects, and social media marketing services.
The ideal candidate should be confident in client communication, capable of building industry relationships, and comfortable working in a startup-style creative environment where ownership, networking, and execution speed are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Project Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify and acquire new content production projects from brands, agencies, startups, OTT platforms, creators, publishers, and businesses
- Generate leads for audio content, podcasts, audiobooks, AI-generated media, YouTube content, reels, branded videos, and digital campaigns
- Acquire B2B projects for branding, digital marketing, social media management, and website development services
- Pitch the company’s production capabilities to potential clients and partners
- Build long-term relationships with brands, media agencies, production houses, marketing teams, and creators
- Actively network to secure partnerships, collaborations, and recurring business opportunities
- Identify high-value opportunities in regional content, AI-driven media, creator economy, and short-form entertainment
- Coordinate client meetings, presentations, proposals, and follow-ups
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of inbound and outbound business opportunities
Client Relationship Management
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal creative and production teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for potential clients and partners
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project acquisition process
- Build strong relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term collaborations
- Ensure professional handling of pitches, negotiations, and client expectations
Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Track trends in digital media, creator economy, AI content, YouTube, Instagram, podcasts, and OTT platforms
- Identify emerging business opportunities in content production and digital marketing
- Research competitors, industry trends, and platform-specific content demand
- Recommend scalable content and service opportunities based on market demand
Proposal & Pitch Coordination
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, costing documents, and presentations
- Coordinate with leadership and creative teams during project pitching stages
- Help structure customized solutions based on client requirements
- Support negotiation and commercial discussion processes
Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate between clients and internal teams for smooth onboarding and execution handover
- Maintain lead trackers, acquisition reports, and client databases
- Provide regular updates on business development activities and conversion status
- Help improve sales processes, acquisition workflows, and partnership strategies

- 2–6 years of experience in business development, media sales, client acquisition, content partnerships, or digital marketing
- Strong industry connections in media, entertainment, creator economy, or advertising sectors preferred
- Passion for content, storytelling, and emerging digital media formats
- Highly proactive, persuasive, and execution-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative production environment
