Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter to join our recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified IT professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time opportunities with clients in the United States. The role requires a strong understanding of the US staffing process, visa classifications, and technical skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Source qualified IT candidates through job portals such as Dice, Monster, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
- Utilize Boolean search techniques to identify passive candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT professionals for current and future requirements.
2. Screening & Evaluation
- Conduct initial screening and technical interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Evaluate candidates based on job requirements, availability, and compensation expectations.
- Verify work authorization and visa status (e.g., H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC, TN, EAD).
3. Recruitment Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requirement analysis to candidate onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and provide suitable candidates.
- Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates and clients for feedback.
4. Candidate Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Negotiate pay rates and ensure candidate commitment.
- Maintain and update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all candidate submissions comply with client and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of submissions, interviews, placements, and pipeline status.
- Understand and adhere to US labor laws and recruitment compliance standards.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Min 6 months of experience in US IT Recruitment.
- Experience working with Direct Clients, W2, C2C, and 1099 employment models.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of IT technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, Data Engineering, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, QA, and Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with ATS tools (e.g., Bullhorn, JobDiva, Ceipal).
- Proficiency in Boolean search and resume mining.
- Familiarity with US tax terms and visa classifications.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
