Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor in Biostatistics to join our academic team. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of biostatistics, research methodology, statistical software, and teaching skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate/postgraduate students, guiding research projects, and contributing to academic and institutional development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.Sc. in Biostatistics (Mandatory)
- Ph.D. in Biostatistics/Statistics/Biostatistics-related discipline (Preferred/As per UGC/NMC norms)
- NET qualification, wherever applicable, as per UGC regulations
- Teaching and research experience will be preferred
- Freshers meeting eligibility criteria may also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biostatistics.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessments.
- Guide student research projects and dissertations.
- Conduct and publish quality research in reputed journals.
- Assist faculty and students in statistical data analysis.
- Use statistical software such as SPSS, R, SAS, STATA, or Python.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic activities.
- Attend departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Perform examination, evaluation, and other academic responsibilities assigned by the institution.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Biostatistics and Research Methodology
- Statistical Data Analysis
- SPSS, R, SAS, STATA, or Python
