Job Summary
The Inward Store Supervisor will be responsible for receiving, verifying, recording, and managing all inward materials including Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Consumables, and Engineering Items. The candidate should ensure proper inventory control, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Accounts departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials as per Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inward records.
- Ensure timely ERP/System entry of all inward materials.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department for material inspection and approval.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control.
- Follow FIFO and FEFO practices for material storage.
- Monitor material shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Accounts departments regarding inward documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.
- Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory.
Required Qualification
- Graduate in Any Stream
