The Relationship Manager – Wealth & Channel Partner role is a wealth management + business development + partner relationship position focused on expanding assets under management (AUM) through clients and external distribution partners.
Role Objective
To manage wealth clients, develop channel partnerships, and drive revenue growth through investment product distribution and advisory services.
1. Wealth Management Responsibilities
- Manage Retail, Affluent & HNI client portfolios.
- Understand client financial goals, risk appetite & investment horizon.
- Provide advisory across wealth products:
- Mutual Funds
- PMS (Portfolio Management Services)
- AIF / SIF
- Equity & Trading solutions
- Insurance & Protection products
- Conduct periodic portfolio review meetings.
- Support long-term wealth creation strategies.
2. Channel Partner Management
- Onboard and manage channel partners, including:
- Sub-brokers
- IFAs
- Financial advisors
- Referral partners
- Build strong relationships with partner networks.
- Provide product training and sales support to partners.
- Assist partners in client acquisition & transaction execution.
- Drive partner productivity and business growth.
3. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Generate new AUM through:
- Direct client acquisition
- Channel partner referrals
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Promote premium wealth products.
- Increase cross-selling opportunities across the platform.
4. Client & Operational Support
- Assist with:
- Investment onboarding & KYC
- Account opening (Trading/Demat/Wealth accounts)
- Transactions & execution coordination
- Service issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Advisory & Market Support
- Share market outlook and investment themes.
- Educate clients and partners on new products.
- Support investment planning & asset allocation strategies.
- Maintain high service standards and client retention.
