Role Overview :
Own merchandise planning, OTB and inventory management across Fashion, GM and FMCG — translating category strategy into a store- and SKU-level financial and inventory plan that keeps Rozana's stores in-stock on the right assortment without over-investing working capital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and own the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process across categories, aligned to sales, margin and inventory-turn targets.
- Develop range and assortment plans by category, store cluster and season in partnership with Category Leaders and Buyers.
- Set up inventory allocation and replenishment logic across the retail experience centre network, balancing rural demand patterns with store-level space constraints.
- Track and report sell-through, aged stock and markdown requirements; recommend corrective action.
- Partner with supply chain/warehousing on stock flow and with finance on budgeting and forecasting.
- Put in place planning tools, templates and MIS/dashboards suited to a lean, fast-scaling team.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- 8–12 years in merchandise/business planning, buying or inventory management in retail (fashion, GM or FMCG).
- Strong Excel/analytics skills; experience with planning or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail or similar) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to run OTB and assortment planning independently, with minimal hand-holding.
- Experience spanning multiple categories (fashion plus non-fashion) preferred, given the shared remit across Fashion, GM and FMCG.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
