Production Planning & Control Head

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical / Production Engineering)
Experience: 7–10 Years
Age: Below 40 Years
Remuneration: ₹7 LPA to ₹10 LPA, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead Production Planning, Scheduling, and Control functions.
· Ensure timely execution of manufacturing and project requirements.
· Develop and maintain Production Control Systems, MIS reports, and production records.
· Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Quality, and Project teams.
· Formulate material procurement strategies and monitor inventory levels.
· Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and subcontractors.
· Participate in tendering activities by providing technical and production inputs.
· Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and quality requirements.
· Supervise welding and fabrication activities in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
· Drive productivity improvements, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Skills & Expertise
· Proven experience in the Metal Fabrication Industry.
· Strong exposure to Project Execution and manufacturing operations.
· Thorough knowledge of Industrial Safety Norms.
· Sound understanding of Welding Systems, Procedures, and Fabrication Practices.
· Knowledge of Design Engineering, Material Grades, and Specifications.
· Experience in Tender Participation, Material Procurement, and Vendor Management.
· Expertise in Production Planning, Production Control, Capacity Planning, and Documentation.
· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing workflows.
