Job Role:
Responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining SMT stencils and pick-and-place nozzles to ensure optimal solder paste printing and component placement quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and machine cleaning of SMT stencils as per cleaning frequency and process requirements.
- Clean pick-and-place nozzles using approved cleaning equipment and solutions.
- Inspect stencils for clogging, damage, wear, or deformation before and after cleaning.
- Inspect nozzles for blockage, wear, or physical damage and report abnormalities.
- Maintain proper identification, storage, and handling of cleaned stencils and nozzles.
- Record cleaning activities, usage cycles, and inspection results in cleaning logs.
- Coordinate with SMT, quality, and maintenance teams for stencil or nozzle-related issues.
- Ensure correct use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety PPE.
- Follow ESD, safety, and cleanroom procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stencil/nozzle cleaning area.
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic understanding of SMT process and solder paste printing concepts.
- Ability to follow work instructions, cleaning standards, and inspection criteria.
- Familiarity with stencil cleaning machines and nozzle cleaning tools.
- Attention to detail for identifying stencil and nozzle defects.
- Awareness of ESD, safety, chemical handling, and cleanroom practices.
