Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Distributor Sales Specialist role based in Gorakhpur. The role involves managing and supporting local distributors, driving sales of solar modules and related products, and ensuring achievement of regional sales targets. The specialist will regularly visit distributors and key partners, conduct product presentations, support pricing and negotiation, and track orders, collections, and secondary sales. The role includes building strong relationships with channel partners, resolving service or supply issues, and coordinating closely with internal teams such as supply chain, finance, and technical support. The specialist will also gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts. Qualifications Strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive distributor performance, achieve volume targets, and manage sales funnels. Proven Account Management and Customer Service abilities to build long-term channel relationships and ensure partner satisfaction. Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present products, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in channel/distributor sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related industrial sectors. Ability to work independently in the field, plan travel efficiently, and manage multiple distributor accounts. Comfort with basic digital tools (CRM, MS Excel, PowerPoint, email) for reporting and data tracking. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Willingness to travel extensively within Gorakhpur and nearby regions as required.
