Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ERP Executive to manage and optimize the TCS ERP system for our distribution box manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate ERP transactions across production, inventory, procurement, sales, dispatch, and finance while supporting manufacturing operations through effective ERP utilization. The role requires close coordination with production, stores, purchase, sales, and accounts teams to maintain data accuracy and improve operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP Operations
- Manage daily ERP transactions including Sales Orders (SO), Purchase Orders (PO), Production Orders, Inventory, Dispatch, Goods Receipt, and Invoicing.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry across all ERP modules.
- Monitor ERP workflows and resolve transaction-related issues.
- Maintain system data integrity and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Manufacturing Module
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), routing, and production masters.
- Generate production orders, job cards, and material requisitions.
- Update shop floor production data and monitor work order progress.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure real-time ERP updates.
Inventory & Stores Management
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory through the ERP system.
- Ensure accurate stock transactions, material issues, receipts, and transfers.
- Support physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
Sales & Dispatch
- Process customer orders and coordinate dispatch planning.
- Generate delivery challans, invoices, and dispatch documentation.
- Track order status and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for smooth dispatch operations.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to production, inventory, sales, dispatch, and procurement.
- Analyze ERP data and provide reports to management for decision-making.
- Monitor production efficiency, inventory movement, and order status through ERP dashboards.
User Support & Coordination
- Provide ERP support and training to users across departments.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors or IT teams to resolve system issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and ERP optimization.
- Ensure users follow standard ERP processes and data entry guidelines.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate master data, transaction records, and system documentation.
- Ensure ERP processes comply with company policies and internal controls.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing ERP reports and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in ERP operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with TCS ERP or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP modules including Production, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Dispatch, and Finance.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM, routing, production planning, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in distribution box, electrical panel, switchgear, sheet metal fabrication, or engineering manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of production planning, material management, and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with barcode systems, inventory audits, and ERP customization is an added advantage.
Salary
CTC: As per experience and interview performance.
