They are responsible for driving B2B sales revenue, expanding market share across Indian pharmaceutical hubs, and managing relationships with finished formulation manufacturers. �� Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & B2B Sales Target Achievement: Driving domestic sales volume and revenue targets for the designated API portfolio in India. Lead Generation: Identifying and onboarding new formulation manufacturers, generic drug companies, and third-party contract manufacturers. Key Account Management: Cultivating relationships with major procurement, R&D, and commercial heads of top Indian pharma corporate groups. 2. Market Intelligence & Positioning Price Monitoring: Tracking highly volatile API pricing trends, raw material availability, and global demand shifts. Competitor Analysis: Benchmarking domestic competitor strategies, product purity grades, and manufacturing capacities. Product Placement: Developing value propositions for APIs based on regulatory compliance, pricing advantages, or supply chain reliability. [1] 3. Cross-Functional Coordination Supply Chain Planning: Working closely with production planning and inventory control to align manufacturing schedules with customer delivery timelines.
