Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, proactive, and customer-focused Front Office Associate with excellent communication skills to be the face and voice of our playschool. The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, handle parental inquiries (via phone and in person), and assist with admissions, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Key ResponsibilitiesParent Engagement & Telecalling
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing inquiries from current and prospective parents.
- Provide detailed and enthusiastic information about our playschool curriculum, activities, daycare facilities, and fee structures.
- Schedule school tours and follow up with parents who have shown interest in admissions.
Front Desk & Reception Operations
- Warmly greet children, parents, and visitors, creating a friendly and positive first impression.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains clean, child-safe, and welcoming.
- Coordinate the safe drop-off and pick-up of children, ensuring security protocols are strictly followed.
Admissions & Student Database Management
- Guide prospective parents through the admission process and assist with documentation.
- Maintain and update an organized database of student records, emergency contacts, and admission inquiries.
Administrative Support
- Manage the school calendar, schedule parent-teacher meetings, and coordinate school events.
- Assist the School Management/Principal with data entry, filing, inventory of school supplies, and general clerical duties.
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary bridge of communication between parents, teachers, and school management.
- Broadcast daily announcements, event reminders, and emergency updates to parents via official communication channels (apps/SMS).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate or Higher Secondary passed (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in front office operations, telecalling, or customer service. Experience in a school, preschool, or daycare setting is a strong plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Tamil and English (essential for interacting with parents and staff). Knowledge of Hindi is optional but advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and handling school management software or communication apps.
