Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Production Supervisor – Fresher to support day-to-day production activities. The candidate will work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow, proper production planning, quality compliance, and timely completion of assigned work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Allocate work to operators and production workers as instructed.
- Monitor production progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
- Follow up on material availability and coordinate with the concerned departments.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Monitor product quality during the production process.
- Identify production issues and report them to the Production Manager.
- Maintain basic production records, checklists, and daily reports.
- Ensure proper use and handling of tools, machines, and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the production floor.
- Ensure employees follow company safety rules and procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Purchase, and other departments whenever required.
- Support the Production Manager in achieving production targets.
- Learn and understand company production processes, equipment, and quality requirements.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the management.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing/production processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Ability to work in a shop-floor environment.
- Good discipline and time-management skills.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
