Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support our sales operations and ensure seamless coordination between customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Sales Support role, strong communication and email drafting skills, and excellent proficiency in MS Excel. This role requires managing sales-related data, customer inquiries, reporting, and process improvements to enhance overall sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely support and troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account-related queries, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and resolution of concerns.
- Draft, review, and manage professional email communication with customers, carriers, shippers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities, and operational data.
- Prepare and update reports, MIS, and performance dashboards using MS Excel.
- Support the sales and brokerage teams by providing relevant data, reports, and operational guidance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in tracking carrier and shipper insurance documentation.
- Manage sales tracking tools and ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Review pending orders and customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience.
- Stay updated with incoming emails, customer communications, and business data.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven work experience as a Sales Support Specialist, Sales Coordinator, or Sales Support Associate (mandatory).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong email writing and business correspondence skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Management, Reporting).
- Good understanding of sales processes and customer service practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, brokerage, transportation, or service-based industries will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
