We are seeking a seasoned professional to govern the business requirements for digital transformation initiatives across our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and designing/re-designing processes that improve operational efficiency, compliance, traceability, and user productivity across manufacturing and plant support functions.
This role is responsible for driving ownership and continuous improvement of core manufacturing digital systems at Sun Pharma — SAP (PP, MM /WM ,PM modules); along with connected platforms such as MES, eLogbook, QMS, LIMS, and other OT/IT systems. The position acts as the process owner, ensuring harmonised processes across sterile and non-sterile manufacturing sites which can be used by the implementation team.
Key responsibilities:
1. MES/SAP Ownership & Governance
- Define and harmonize business processes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Digital plant creation and rollout plan wherever necessary in SGO
2. Leadership of Allied Manufacturing Systems
- Align cross-system business rules and master data.
- Provide functional oversight and work with stakeholders of MES, eLogbook, QMS, LIMS and related systems.
3. Manufacturing Domain Expertise
- Strong understanding of sterile and non-sterile manufacturing.
- Familiar with various Supply chain management and procurement system getting used in Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Familiar with GXP regulations for Pharmaceutical Drug formulation plants.
- Anchor best practices for batch execution and documentation.
4. Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify digitization opportunities.
- Deploy lean and Six Sigma approaches.
- Drive KPIs and dashboards across manufacturing.
5. Stakeholder & Change Management
- Act as bridge between manufacturing, QA, IT, and vendors.
- Communicate business process changes enterprise-wide.
- Evaluating and approving Changes either for audit observation compliance or improvement.
