The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of food under the supervision of senior chefs. This role is ideal for someone starting their culinary career and looking to gain hands-on kitchen experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and food items
- Support the team during service hours
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Help in cutting, chopping, marinating, and mise en place
- Clean kitchen equipment and workstations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Culinary diploma or training preferred
Experience:
- 0–5 years of experience (freshers can apply)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
