Responsibilities: Analyse current risk management workflows and identify opportunities for automation, with the goal of removing manual checks and increasing operational efficiency.Design, develop, and implement automated solutions—leveraging tools such as Splunk—to streamline risk data collection, monitoring, and reporting.Build and maintain interactive dashboards that provide clear, real-time visibility into the organisation’s risk posture and key risk indicators (KRIs).Integrate legal, regulatory, and policy requirements into automated processes to ensure ongoing compliance and audit readiness.Automate the identification and tracking of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk events across business processes and supporting systems.Maintain an up-to-date, automated risk register and ensure all risk factors and mitigation actions are accurately recorded and tracked.Facilitate the automation of audit trails, compliance documentation, and reporting to support both internal and external reviews.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate automation solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.Support the development and automation of risk response actions, ensuring timely and effective communication of risk status and mitigation activities. Essential Skillset/Experience: Demonstrable experience (6 to 8 years) in automating IT workflows and developing dashboards, ideally using Splunk or similar analytics platforms.Strong technical background in IT service or application management, with a focus on process automation and operational improvement.Proficiency in supporting and automating tasks within Unix, Linux, Windows, or virtualisation environments.Familiarity with risk and control frameworks, with the ability to translate business and compliance requirements into technical automation solutions.Experience in compliance, audit, or information risk management is beneficial, though not essential.Relevant industry certifications (such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent) are advantageous.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to decision-making processes.
