Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assist in maintaining a safe and effective healthcare environment, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families about health management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and document patients' medical histories and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures and manage patient care post-procedure.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and report changes in condition to the medical team.
- Foster effective communication with patients and their families regarding care plans and health education.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing degree.
- Valid nursing license from the appropriate licensing authority.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability to changing situations and patient needs.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
