We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting entries and financial record maintenance. The role is primarily focused on accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions in the ERP system, including bank entries, vouchers, purchase bills, sales invoices, and petty cash management.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper books of accounts by ensuring all transactions are recorded systematically and supported with appropriate documentation. This includes regular updating of bank transactions, tracking cash expenses, and ensuring all purchase and sales entries are properly accounted for.
The role requires high attention to detail, consistency in data entry, and the ability to manage routine accounting tasks without errors or delays. The candidate should be comfortable working on ERP systems such as ERPNext and must ensure that all entries are accurate, complete, and up to date.
The position will also support reconciliation activities and assist during month-end and year-end closing, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and aligned.
This role is critical for maintaining financial discipline and data accuracy across the organization and requires a reliable, process-driven individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter all bank transactions (receipts, payments, transfers) in ERP
- Pass accounting vouchers accurately and on time
- Maintain and track petty cash with proper supporting records
- Record purchase bills and ensure proper documentation
- Enter sales invoices and maintain billing records
- Maintain daily accounting entries with zero backlog
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger verification
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all transactions
- Coordinate with internal teams for missing or pending entries
Key Requirements
- B.Com or equivalent qualification
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting/data entry role
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems
- Hands-on experience in Tally systems
- Strong understanding of basic accounting entries
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency
- Basic understanding of GST
