Job Title: Head of Financial Operations (Financial Controller)
Location: Kochi, Kerala

Qualification
- CA Inter (Intermediate) qualification (Additional Advantage)
- Candidates with a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Commerce or Finance along with significant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounts.
- Proven experience in independently managing end-to-end finance and accounting functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Oversee the complete Finance and Accounts function of the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely finalisation of accounts and preparation of MIS reports.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
Accounting Operations
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Monitor bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper accounting controls and documentation.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable laws.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and departmental audits.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead statutory, internal, GST, and tax audits.
- Develop and implement robust internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund, and other payroll-related regulations.
- Coordinate with the HR department for payroll accuracy and employee settlements.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Finance and Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance functions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience in finalisation of accounts.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- CA Inter qualified with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple business units.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Candidates from Kochi or those willing to relocate to Kochi will be preferred.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
