Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the seafood production unit, ensuring smooth processing, packaging, quality compliance, hygiene, and productivity. The role involves supervising workers, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily seafood processing and production activities.
- Monitor cleaning, grading, cutting, packing, freezing, and storage operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, GMP, and company standards.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift schedules effectively.
- Monitor production targets and minimize wastage.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly operated and maintained.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards.
- Train workers on safety procedures, hygiene, and operational practices.
- Maintain production records, reports, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and warehouse departments.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with labor regulations.
- Handle production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree
- 3–5 years of experience in seafood processing or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC, and food safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹15,925.45 - ₹24,589.84 per month
