Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Classroom Management
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and other assigned subjects.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Lesson Planning
- Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans.
- Use creative teaching methods, activities, and teaching aids to enhance student understanding.
- Student Development
- Encourage students’ intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide support.
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and class tests.
- Maintain records of student progress and performance.
- Classroom Discipline
- Maintain discipline and ensure proper classroom behaviour.
- Implement school policies and rules.
- Communication with Parents
- Participate in parent–teacher meetings.
- Provide feedback to parents regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Co-curricular Activities
- Organize and participate in school events, competitions, and cultural activities.
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance records and academic documentation.
- Support school management in academic and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed / D.Ed / TTC preferred.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
