Adithya Public Matriculation Higher Secondary School is seeking a qualified and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Senior Secondary students, building strong subject knowledge, and preparing students for board examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons for Senior Secondary classes (XI & XII)
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum
- Guide and mentor students for board examinations with a focus on conceptual clarity and problem-solving
- Conduct periodic tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and school activities
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
Mandatory Requirements:
- 3–5 years of teaching experience in Chemistry for Senior Secondary grades
- Board exam paper evaluation experience is essential
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject expertise in Chemistry
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and effective manner
- Passion for teaching and student development
