About the Role
We are looking for a creative and talented Motion Graphic Designer who can bring ideas to life through engaging motion graphics, animation, and video content.
The ideal candidate should have strong video editing and motion design skills, a good understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively with the creative team while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging and innovative motion graphics for videos, presentations, social media, and other digital content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
- Edit, manipulate, and stitch video clips seamlessly.
- Provide creative inputs and ideas for video editing.
- Combine images, background graphics, animations, and special effects.
- Trim and arrange footage to create smooth and engaging video sequences.
- Add music, dialogues, graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
- Create rough cuts as well as final video cuts.
- Ensure logical sequencing, continuity, and smooth running of videos.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design and video editing.
Requirements & Skills
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in motion graphics, animation, or video editing.
- Proven work experience as a Video Animator / Motion Graphic Designer.
- Strong video editing skills with a creative portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with video editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Final Cut Pro is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of timing, motivation, continuity, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Strong understanding of design principles and animation techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in motion graphics and animation is preferred.
