Role Overview:
The Training & Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization maintains the highest standards of workforce capability and regulatory adherence. This role is responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and align with business objectives. In parallel, the specialist will oversee compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on inbound sales and outbound sales techniques, for new hires and existing employees to enhance skills, product knowledge, and performance.
- Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify skill gaps in call handling, objection management, and compliance adherence.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform call auditing and barging to monitor live and recorded calls, ensuring quality standards, script adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop compliance frameworks specific to telecom and energy sales, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with sales managers and team leaders to integrate training and compliance initiatives into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, compliance audits, call monitoring, and certifications for reporting and regulatory purposes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on compliance standards, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
- Stay updated on evolving sales regulations, customer expectations, and industry trends to keep training and compliance programs relevant.
- Promote a culture of ethical selling, customer-centric communication, and continuous learning across inbound and outbound sales teams.
Pre-requisites:
- Proven experience in training and compliance within the BPO or telecom/energy sales industry.
- Strong knowledge of inbound sales processes and outbound telesales techniques.
- Expertise in call auditing, barging, and monitoring tools to evaluate agent performance and ensure compliance.
- In-depth understanding of industry regulations, client requirements, and ethical sales practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills to engage diverse teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, dialers, and call analytics platforms.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills for training records, compliance audits, and corrective actions.
- Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, performance excellence, and regulatory awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field; professional certifications in training, compliance, or quality assurance are an advantage.
