Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead and coordinate architectural design activities for real estate projects. The role involves design development, preparation and review of drawings, coordination with consultants and project teams, ensuring design quality, statutory compliance, and timely delivery of project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and development for residential, commercial, and other real estate projects.
- Develop design concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed architectural drawings.
- Review project requirements, design briefs, site conditions, and applicable development regulations.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultants.
- Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings and construction documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, local regulations, development control regulations, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure proper implementation of approved designs.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor design execution and resolve architectural issues.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and technical submissions.
- Provide technical clarifications and design solutions during project execution.
- Coordinate with external architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors as required.
- Identify design conflicts and coordinate timely resolution to avoid project delays.
- Maintain design standards, quality, and consistency across projects.
- Support preparation of tender drawings, specifications, and BOQ inputs where required.
- Review and provide comments on contractor/subcontractor drawings and submissions.
- Ensure timely issuance and revision of drawings and maintain proper document control.
- Participate in design review meetings and project coordination meetings.
- Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent, quality, and functionality.
- Assist management in evaluating design proposals and selecting suitable architectural solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior architects and design team members.
- Monitor design deliverables and ensure they are completed within agreed timelines.
Required Qualifications
- B.Arch. – Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate/residential/commercial projects.
- Strong experience in architectural design and project coordination.
- Experience in handling consultants and multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Good knowledge of building regulations, construction practices, and statutory requirements.
