Job Description – ITI Fitter

Job Summary
We are looking for an ITI Fitter to carry out fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of machines and equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical components, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and fit mechanical parts, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines.
- Inspect mechanical components and identify faults or wear.
- Replace or repair defective machine parts as required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments efficiently.
- Ensure proper alignment and smooth functioning of machinery.
- Maintain maintenance records and report machine issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
- Coordinate with the Production team to minimize machine downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI – Fitter.
- 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting, machine maintenance, and assembly.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
