Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in legal research, drafting, case management, client communication, and transaction execution while maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and case summaries.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, notices, and other legal documents.
Assist in litigation matters, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and court filings.
Support corporate and commercial transactions, due diligence exercises, and regulatory compliance projects.
Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and negotiations as required.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to clients and practice areas.
Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and legal records.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to deliver effective legal solutions.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, legal requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification.
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (or eligible for enrollment).
2–5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
